My Nose Hurts
Someone on our floor (okay the basement) doused themselves in some sort of baby powder scented crap and it's stinking up the entire hallway. Have I mentioned that I hate baby powder scented ANYTHING? I don't really even care for it on babies, but I really don't get it for adults. It kind of creeps me out. Why do you want to smell like a baby?

I am not a lover of the baby powder scent either!

I have synesthesia (I can smell a fart 2 miles away and can smell colors) and so I have a really sensitive nose and hate it (hate it I say!) when people pour on the perfume / baby powder!

I grew up in the era of "Love's Baby Soft Perfume". Still...that's no excuse.

I like it. But it is kind of a "heavy" smell and always makes me want to cough.

Oh ick. I hate when people overdo on the perfume/cologne/baby powder...

Better than in my building (home, not work) someone barfed in our ELEVATOR on Saturday night. It has since been cleaned up but it still smells like sour milk in there. *GAG*

I definitely do NOT want to smell like a baby's ass and cannot comprehend why anyone would. Like you, I'm not even particularly fond of the scent on babies.

LOL, Love's Baby Soft Perfume, I SO HAD THAT!!!

Overdoing any scent to the extent that it covers an entire floor is just not ok.

I generally don't care for people who wear too much perfume or cologne. You know how they have so much on that you can taste it? Gross. I guess they just don't know. I'm always tempted to say something. Maybe next time.

Vanilla candles give me the same reaction. *Gag*

But baby powder unless on a baby...that's just icky. What are they trying to mask?

Perfume is no good for me either. I have allergies to that stuff.

Yeay, I always think of baby POOP when I smell that...

Oooooh I can't STAND that. And I do occasionally make comments -like Eeeuw, someone has used WAAAYYY to much cologne!

With some people you start to feel like you can't even breathe.

Ditto on Kami's comment. And babies have their own wonderful smell that has nothing to do with powder.

People shouldn't be spraying themselves with ANYTHING while at work. Gross.

I SO get you on the baby powder. None of that shit ever touched my baby. Ever.

... maybe they have chapped thighs and had to dose themselves to stop the chaffing. ;)

*sigh* I really like baby powder smelling things. I don't know why. It's a sickness, really. :P

Too much Love's Baby Soft in my youth has put me off the scent forever.

You hate it? Really?

Hum...

Maybe you should just try to look at the bright side. Maybe they are usually smell like poop and they use the baby powder to hide that smell.

Because poop would be worse then baby powder, right?

(I hate having to smell things that make me sick. Like microwave popcorn....blah!)
